This week is bridal week on my blog, because I’m participating in my first bridal show this weekend! It’s definitely an experiment to see what kind of response I’d get at such an event, but I’m being optimistic it will open me up to people in other areas who might respond to my style.

If we’ve met in person, you’ve more than likely met my camera bag, Lola. You probably also said, “that’s a camera bag? I thought it was the cutest purse ever!” To that, I probably smirked and thought to myself how smart and stylish of a photographer I am.
Little Luke turned One last month. Poor baby was under the weather, though. Am I evil to find this sneeze adorable? I took some photos to compare to his newborn photos taken a year ago.
I got the opportunity to photograph almost the whole menu for Bootlegger’s Restaurant this week, a great place up in Old Auburn that is going through a marketing revitalization.

Back in November I got new flooring and painted my whole house. It was like moving to a new place because everything had to be packed up and moved out for the install. I took it as an opportunity to give my house a facelift, on the cheap of course.

My friends Bridget and Preston Shopbell came over a couple of weeks ago with their newborn Owen, to try out my set up in my new office. It’s small, but it works! Morning light is best, because I have access to an exterior door and a window to provide light from two sides.
